The Sealer of Weights and Measures enforces federal, state, and local laws that set a standard for accuracy requirements for all commercial devices used in the weighing and or measuring of any item sold by weight, volume, measure, or count.

The Department is responsible to inspecting all devices that weigh our food, measure our fuel or scan our purchases.

Protection for both the merchant and the consumer is the primary mission of this department.
