Regulations
for “residential” leaf
program
Leaves
must be raked
to the edge
of the sidewalk
or front property
line (if no
sidewalk exists).
Do not rake
leaves onto
the sidewalk
or into the
street.

article
13 of the
milford general
by-laws
sweeping
materials
onto streets
or sidewalks
is prohibited
and violators
will be
prosecuted.
Do
not bag leaves
for curbside
removal.
No
household garbage,
trash, grass,
sticks, rocks,
etc. will be
accepted. Leaf
collection
equipment will
only pick up
leaves.
Do
not pile leaves
under low handing
branches.
Bulk
of leaves will
be vacuumed.
Disposal of
remaining leaves
will be the
responsibility
of the homeowner.
Due
to time constraints
and inclement
weather, we
are unable
to return for
a second pick-up.
Residents must
have their
leaves out
on the scheduled
date or they
will forfeit
the service.
The
Transfer Station
located on
Cedar St.
will be open
for your convenience.
Transfer Station
hours may be
obtained by
calling the
Milford Board
of Health office
at 508-634-2315.
Leaf

a.m. to 3:00
p.m. WEATHER
PERMITTING.
